Working Spacing Moving and Resting

In this collaborative video we perform everyday actions, exploring the poetry and physical labor through daily movement like walking, standing, resting, and how objects as bodies meet and dance with us through various maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, bending, vacuuming, stacking chairs. The locations are the spaces of the Artist’s Collective Monumental Workshop in Malmö (a communal workspace above my studio and where I usually do my sculptural works), and all the objects we interacted with were already in the rooms where we shot the scenes.

We also conducted a Performance workshop for kids in relation to Luca Freis art in the exhibition space.
The workshop offered a playful and bodily exploration of rhythm and color departing from cues in Luca Frei’s drawings, paintings, models, and video work.
