Performer/Dancer
Statues or To-Stand?
A performance installation for gallery spaces.
Statues or To-Stand explores the classic statue, usually an elevated person representing a moment in time related to a now forgotten achievement. The stories told through statues are largely determined by who controls history. How to think about making new statues and how to deal with those that already exist? Statues or To-Stand explores expressions of the moment that can capture an increasingly multicultural time in human history
