(link: will be up soon)

The participatory performance work tinishef/moojolu feereyaa is a poetic exploration of the ancient Gambian and Sudanese wisdom of mysticism and inner knowledge. We, your ša-ba-lum (guides) and you as viator (travelers) set out together to listen to what we otherwise do not hear.
Together we create a channel through which we get in touch with the essence.
We end with a traditional encounter with that which is said to have healing powers.

This is a participatory performance piece. You participate as yourself and you will not be acting as anyone else.
Age limit 18 years.

Biography:
Majula Drammeh and Shaya Khalil or in this case ša-ba-lum/s are self-taught in Gambian and Sudanese ancient spiritual cunning. The duo discovered a common interest through their own search for mysticism linked to their identities and origins. Both are active in the field of performance and have worked as performers together in other people’s works. tinishef/moojolu feereyaa is the first time they are joint authors.
